YP
Awards
The Young PAP is a vibrant youth wing of the
Party, reaching out to young Singaporeans and creating
platforms for youths to engage in pro-Singapore activities.
This is due very much to the effort of YP members and
activists through the ranks who put in time and effort to
organise activities and rally members together.
Recognition of their effort has always come
from the PAP's annual Youth Award. The YP Awards was
launched in 2003 to demonstrate YP's appreciation of the hard
work of our members.
The YP
Awards recognises the efforts of individual, branch, or YPAG
(Young People's Action Groups) in four areas of political
movement:

Recruitment – Recruiter Award
• Activities – Activist Award
• Member development – Nurturer Award
• Mobilisation – Mobiliser Award

Recruiter Award
|
For innovation in recruitment – either
new tactic or improvement on those in practice – that
result in increased Party membership.

Activist Award
|
For organising activities that engage
participants repeatedly to keep them close to the Party.
|
|
Nurturer Award
|
For creating platforms for exchange of
ideas or helping young Singaporeans grow in political
awareness and involvement.
|
|
Mobiliser Award
|
For innovation in communication or
mechanism that results in strong results when rallying
participants.
|
|
Service Award
[Launched in 2004] |
For outstanding service and
contributions by Comrades with less than five years of
Party membership.
|
All YP members can be nominated for the
above awards except members of the YP Executive Committee.
